Villa Sunrize is a 2nd floor, 750 sq. ft. 2-bedroom apartment in the sleepy seaside village of Long Bay about 3 hours across the mountains from Kingston and just minutes from such well-known attractions as Frenchman’s Cove, Reach Falls, Blue Lagoon and Boston Jerk Centre.The apartment overlooks the sea and is a perfect getaway for couples, groups, or singles. Long Bay, a one mile stretch of white sand beach, bars and small restaurants is just five minutes away. It’s 30 minutes from the town of Port Antonio.

A safe village for tourists

Long Bay is safe village with two beaches dotted with bars and restaurants offering a variety of local fare and sea food dishes. And because the village is not dependent on tourism for its survival, foreign tourists are unlikely to experience the harassment that is sometimes prevalent in major tourism centers.

Sunbathe on the roof

The 2nd floor, two bedroom/one bathroom apartment is air conditioned by fans and sea breezes. Guests can access the roof to sunbathe and take in the magnificent 360-degree view of the ocean and the mountains. The amenities provided include a sundeck, WiFi and flat screen TV with cable channels and a well-equipped kitchen.

An open attitude towards ganja

Villa Sunrize has a very open attitude toward ganja but requests that guests not smoke inside the apartment. There is no objection to guests smoking outside, on the sundeck or on the roof. Guests who book through GanjaVacations will be treated to a herb house visit after airport pickup so that they get smokes for the drive along the winding mountain to Jamaica’s north coast. Ganja is also easily available in the area.

There are many restaurants and cookshops in the nearby vicinity and scattered along the beach. Boston Jerk Centre is 10 minutes away by taxi. Guests can also prepare their own meals or have food delivered to the property. The villa can also arrange to have a cook come in to prepare meals.
