Villa Rasta consists of 8 charming little bungalows overlooking the sea in Long Bay on Jamaica’s northeast coast about 3 hours from the Norman Manley Airport in Kingston. Sandwiched between the Blue Mountains and the sea, Long Bay is a magical, off the beating path location in one of Jamaica’s prettiest parishes about 45 minutes from the town of Port Antonio. In addition to the villa’s breathtaking views, guests love the picturesque sunrises, the friendly neighborhood, easy access to the area’s popular beaches and the ability to mingle with both locals and foreigners.

Owner, Bigga and his family have been hosting guests for more than 10 years and among other things, host weekly parties for guests to meet and socialize with the local community.

Lots of ganja in the neighborhood

Guests are free to smoke anywhere except in rooms. Ganja is easily available from any number of local growers as well as at the nearby La Familia guest house and sacramental ganja farm.

Villa Rasta is close to many of the area’s popular attractions and offers excursions to destinations such as Reach Falls, Nanny Falls, San San Beach and Winnifred Beach as well ashiking in the Blue Mountains. Villa Rasta offers delicious organic Jamaican fare but guests have lots of local options at eateries such as Secrets, Chillout Beach Bar and Grill, Y and V Seaview Restaurant, Curley Aston Wine Bar and Grill, Mitch’s Restaurant and the Cliff Hanger Restaurant.
