Negril’s Stoney Gate Cottages consists of 3 simple but colorful and well-appointed cottages overlooking the ocean, surrounded by gardens,and conveniently located close to beaches, shopping, and popular attractions like Rick’s Café. It is about 90 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Stoney Gate is compliant with all the Covid 19 protocols required by the Jamaican government.

All the amenities for a comfortable stay

In addition to comfortable accommodations, guests will find a service-minded staff and the amenities required for a satisfying stay. Among other things, each cottage at Stoney Gate comes with air-conditioning, a living area with a flat screen TV, cable channels and a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave and fridge. There are also tea and coffee making facilities as well as a hospitality tray.

Special accommodations for weed lovers

As in most of Jamaica, ganja is easily available in Negril. Stoney Gate Cottages will arrange a herb house visit after airport pickup in Montego Bay and to others in Negril, as needed. Keisha, the property manager will help to coordinateganja excursions, whether this be to a herb house or a ganja farm. The property has earmarked certain rooms for ganja tourists, but smoking is not allowed in the rooms, only in outside areas and in certain designated areas. Ganja infused meals are available, on request. Orange Hill, Jamaica’s famous weed growing region is only a few miles away.

Stoney Gate Cottages does not offer any onsite dining but there are a broad range of local and international fare at the many restaurants, bars, clubs and other entertainment spots in close proximity. Popular nearby restaurants include Pablo’s, DevineDestiny, Rock House, Pushkart, CiaoJamaica, and Negril Escape. There is a gym next door for the compulsive types who need to workout while on vacation.
