Its amenities include a fitness centre and bar, flat screen tvs with cable channels, high speed internet service and a hot tub as well as well as a private beach. The staff includes a housekeeper and cook – who is available to prepare meals for guests who want to dine in on authentic Jamaica fare.

Ganja is easily available

Royal Vista is very accommodating to cannabis enthusiasts but allows smoking in certain designated areas only – the beach, the riverside, the pooldecks, and roof top, for example. A visit can be easily arranged to one of the many local ganja farmers in the area to purchase and/or learn a bit about Jamaican strains. There are also many herb houses in Montego Bay and in other towns along the coast.
