From singles to small groups

Rainbow Villas offers accommodations that range from just one room to the complete guest house that can accommodate up to 10 guests. Groups are welcome with arrangements that can include a schedule of adventure, educational and recreational tours, and activities.There is excellent WiFi for those who want to keep in touch with the rest of the world. But for those who came to relax, there is a cool and shady veranda and a lush yard to enjoy nature. There is a bench and weights for those who want to get real physical. And, it’s only a minute’s walk to the beach for a refreshing dive and a swim.

Near the Peter Tosh house

The guesthouse is also the perfect home-base from which to explore Jamaica – and especially the many interesting options along the island’s south coast. Belmont is the place where reggae super star Peter Tosh (Bob Marley & the Wailers) grew-up, and where he was buried, after his gruesome murder in 1988. Tourists who visit his memorial can, among other things, speak with his mom who still lives there.

A ganja friendly property

Rainbow Villas is ok with smoking on the property. And, like just about everywhere in this part of the island, there are ganja farms in the area to which tours can be arranged. Visits can also be arranged to Blue Hole Mineral Spring, famous for its high-quality strains as well as HerbsJa.

Good dining in the area

Guests are on their own for meals. Each unit comes with a kitchenette for those who’d like to do a little cooking. There are however good dining options in the area. Among the places recommended are Elaine’s in Whitehouse, Luna Sea Inn and Campbelton Tours.
