PaTracey’s YaadA UNIQUE, OFF-THE-BEATEN-PATH VACATION SPACE
Overview
A unique, off-the-beaten-path vacation space
You’ll find PaTracey’s Yaad between Winnifred and Boston beaches in the Fairy Hill section of Port Antonio about two and a half hours from the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston. The place is not easily described; it is part art gallery, part B&B and part music stage where you can rock to the reggae hits of the ’70s and ’80s during their Hashtology – a mashup of vinyl selections, weed culture, weed art and ganja infused foods.
Sleep in regular rooms or camp out on the roof
The ground floor houses a gallery and several bedrooms. The upper floor is an unfinished area with a tent and hammock where guests are free to camp out under the stars at night. Guests also have access to a bar, WiFi, a garden, and room service as well as a well-equipped kitchen.
Take home some art
The gallery features driftwood art objects of many shapes and sizes, earthenware pots, water gourds and relics of old Jamaica plus owner, Ras Rod’s original artwork. Ras Rod wears many hats at PaTracey’s Yaad – from chauffer, chef, gardener, and artist to tour guide.
Smoke anywhere on the property
Guests are free to smoke anywhere in PaTracey’s Yaad but are asked to be considerate of others who may not be weed lovers or smokers. But if you are looking for a place to chill, stare at the stars and smoke all the weed you can handle, Patracey’s Yaad is the place.
