Jackies on the Reef is a wellness center, guesthouse and spa overlooking the beautiful turquoise Caribbean in Negril about 90 minutes west of the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. You’ll be far from the Negril strip but will have little reason to leave Jackie’s serene sanctuary. Jackies on the Reef is a place to clear your mind, body and spirit and reconnect to nature and yourself in a safe and peaceful environment in the company of hummingbirds, butterflies, beautiful flowers, exotic tropical birds, hermit crabs and geckos. It is an absolutely stunning environment far from the crowds.

There are no tvs and cell phones are not welcome

Jackie is a phenomenal, wise, and cultured woman with an infectious personality that resonates through the place she created. She’s also generous with the many wonderful things she has to share – energy, conversation, ideas, kindness, recipes, and more.There are no tvs and the use of cell phones is frowned upon. Jackie encourages total peace and serenity which is everywhere in abundance. This is a place to rest, kickback and read, lay around and watch nature, reflect and learn about yourself, and connect with the world around you.

Start your day with yoga class by the sea

Mornings are started with a delicious cup of tea or coffee followed by a complimentary yoga class performed in the open-air veranda in full view of the ocean. Not a rigorous yoga practice, but very spiritual and centered and a perfect way to start the day. Breakfast is always fresh, healthy, and delicious as is dinnerprepared with fresh fruits, vegetable and herbs grown right on the premises. Guests dine together family style to the accompaniment of stimulating conversation and many laughs.

A variety of available spa treatments

Jackie’s offers an array of spa treatments. You may like the body scrub, which is done in an open-air hut near the ocean. Others may prefer the hot stones or hot bamboo treatments, seaweed scrub or reiki sessions. There are also reflexology as well as manicure and pedicure treatments.

A relaxed attitude towards ganja

Jackies on Reef has a very relaxed attitude towards ganja. Jackie herself believes in the healing power of “di erb” and uses it in some of her treatments. Guests are free to indulge anywhere on the property – except in the rooms where smoking is strictly prohibited. Ganja is easily available locally as well as from herb houses in Negril which is just a short ride away.
