Holiday Haven is in the small, quiet, and peaceful resort town of Runaway Bay, one of the most naturally beautiful places along Jamaica’s north coast, close to public and private beaches about 50 minutes from the Sangster International Airport and about 15 minutes from the town of Ocho Rios. Situated as it is across the road from the beach, Holiday Haven is a good place for people who like to be close to but not in the middle of the hubbub on the beach.

Well-appointed rooms

Among other things, Holiday Haven features 45 cozy, well-appointed rooms with modern furnishings, a restaurant, an outdoor pool, bar/lounge, 3 conference rooms and a 24-hour fitness center. It is also in compliance with all the government prescribed Covid 19 protocols. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Selected rooms have a kitchenette and a fridge. The onsite restaurant serves great local cuisine as do nearby places likeSharkeys, MIlestone, and Scotchies Restaurant.

Special rooms for ganjatourists

Holiday Haven welcomes ganja tourists and has reserved a block of rooms just for them. And, for those so inclined, infused meals are available from the restaurant, on request. Two herb houses (Kaya Herb House in DraxHall and Dr. Robinson‘s Herb House in Ocho Rios) are within close proximity and the resort will be happy to arrange transportation for guests to visit either location. Ganja is readily available in the area and guests looking for some good local stuff need only to speak with Carl, the owner and a native of the area who will know what to do next.

Lots to do close by

The resort is located close to shopping areas and the Runaway Bay Golf Club. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Flavours Beach and Cardiff Hall Beach. Runaway Bay Beach is within 2 miles and the famous Green Grotto Caves is about 6 miles away and 14 miles to Rainforest Adventures.
