Chicago Mayor Proposes Major Cannabis Policy Changes

Times are a-changing. The mayor of Chicago has proposed a plan to reduce penalties for unlawful cannabis possession and end the police policy of automatically impounding vehicles of drivers caught in possession. For example, the penalty for 1st time minor offenses will be reduced to a mere $50. Significantly, the new plan also includes training for police officers.
